I've noticed a click clunk that sounds like CV joints recently so I got under to check out my axles. There's a small amount of movement between the wheel and the diff end of the axle on either side, but definitely nowhere near enough to make such a noise in my mind. The driveshaft is in good shape as well. There is a good bit of play between the wheels and the trans though, as all the lash stacks up. It's quite annoying. I was thinking of having my axles rebuiltbut not sure if aftermarket rebuilt parts are worth a damn anymore or if I need to get new axles. Now I have to remember to come back and check on this post :-P
